Fall Sweeps Craziness!

Coming this fall to ABC is a brand new show called My Generation. This show is shot in the style of a documentary and follows different types of individuals 10 years after going to high school in the year 2000. This new program looks interesting and I would love to watch My Generation as it begins its first season but unfortunately this new show airs at the same time as both The Big Bang Theory on CBS and 30 Rock on NBC. Both of these shows have a huge following and will pretty much deter all attention away from My Generation. I suppose that people could record My Generation and watch it after viewing the latest episodes of their favorite shows on the other major networks, but I just do not see ABC’s new television program generating enough interest.

A second new show being introduced to TV viewers this fall is CBS’s Blue Bloods. This new drama follows an Irish family of law enforcers. The cast is lead by Tom Selleck in the role of the father with other stars such as Donnie Wahlberg playing is detective son. The major reason I believe this show has a shot at making it is because of its writers/producers. Mitch Burgess and Robin Green are the Emmy winning writers and producers of The Sopranos. I think that fans of the Sopranos will be very interested to see what this writing/producing team has in store for viewers. Blue Bloods has a very good chance of establishing a decent fan base.
